The Global Places and Services (GPS) team acts as the backbone of Waymo's physical and technical operational infrastructure, balancing technical engineering expertise with operational agility to protect and optimize our environments as autonomous vehicle technology scales.As Waymo transitions from R&D to global commercial scale, our physical facility controls and cloud IT infrastructure must evolve to be seamlessly integrated. We are seeking an Head of Technical Services to serve as our Master Systems Integrator (MSI) and top-level technical authority. In this role, you will bridge physical building operations and digital cloud platforms, defining long-term network architectures for Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Building Operating System (BOS) service frameworks. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, enforce control design and BOS data standards, resolve critical operational outages, and partner across IT, Hardware, and Facilities to build scalable, enterprise-grade smart building solutions for all critical assets including our charger infrastructure.

This role follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to Director of eMobility hiring manager.

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
