Weinstein Properties is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician - Make Ready in Atlanta, GA. This role involves completing the make-ready process for vacant apartments, assisting with maintenance work orders, and maintaining property grounds and appearance. The position offers competitive pay starting at $20/hour (with potential for $21/hour with EPA certification), on-call pay, quarterly bonuses, and benefits including a rent discount, PTO, and medical insurance. A minimum of 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience is required. While HVAC certification is not mandatory, willingness to train for it is essential. The ideal candidate possesses strong customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Maintenance Technician - Make Ready Schedule

  • Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week)
  • Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

    • What You’ll Be Doing

  • Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments
  • Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed
  • Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis
  • Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

    • What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience
  • No HVAC certification required if you are willing to train and work towards getting certified
  • EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands-on HVAC troubleshooting / repair experience is a plus!
  • Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
  • Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks

    • Physical & Technical Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
  • Ability to drive a golf cart
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Background check required
