Role summary

Weinstein Properties is seeking an EPA-certified Maintenance Technician for a full-time, onsite position in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves completing work orders, assisting with apartment turns, and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in apartment or residential maintenance and possess EPA certification. The position offers competitive pay, a sign-on bonus, quarterly bonuses, and benefits including a rent discount, PTO, and 401(k) with match. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with participation in an on-call rotation.

    • Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified Schedule

  • Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week)
  • Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

    • What You’ll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician

  • Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments
  • Assist with apartment turns and make-readies
  • Troubleshoot, repair and install HVAC systems, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and carpentry items
  • Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

    • What We’re Looking For In A Maintenance Technician

  • At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience
  • EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC systems
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently
  • A reliable team player
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks

    • Physical & Technical Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
  • Ability to drive a golf cart
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Background check required
