Part Time Nanny – Pleasanton, CA

A welcoming, multilingual family in Pleasanton, CA 94566 is seeking an experienced, nurturing part-time nanny to primarily care for their newborn arriving at the end of November and occasionally their 4-year-old child.

Schedule:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Monday through Friday
  • Approximately 20 hours per week (4 hours per day)
  • Schedule flexibility between 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

    • Family Specifications:

  • Smoke-free home
  • Pet-free household
  • Multilingual home environment (family speaks Chinese)

    • Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, nurturing care for a newborn infant
  • Occasional care for 4 year if they are not in school
  • Prepare bottles/formula and assist with bottle feedings, including washing and sanitizing feeding supplies
  • Support infant and preschooler personal care routines, including diaper changes, potty training, dressing, and bathing as needed
  • Maintain soothing, age-appropriate nap and awake-time routines
  • Complete light infant- and child-related housekeeping, including tidying and children’s laundry

    • Requirements:

  • Prior professional experience caring for newborns/infants
  • Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to and from the home

    • Preferred:

  • Infant and Child CPR & First-Aid certified
  • Fluency or proficiency in Chinese

    • Compensation:

  • $29 - $32 per hour
