Role summary

Wellthy is seeking reliable caregivers in Hudson County, NJ, to provide last-minute childcare. As an independent care provider, you'll have full schedule control, choose the age groups you work with, and receive competitive, direct payments ($15-$30/hour). Responsibilities include engaging children in fun activities, assisting with routines like meals and naps, and homework help. Requires demonstrable childcare experience, reliability, and completion of a Trust & Safety onboarding process. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. Empathy and a genuine care for children are essential.

  • Assist with basic routines (meals, naps, homework help).

    • What we need from you:

  • Experience: Some demonstrable experience in childcare (babysitting, siblings, nannying, daycare or volunteering counts!).
  • Reliability: You show up on time and communicate clearly.
  • Trust & Safety: To ensure the highest quality of care for our clients, all independent care providers must complete our comprehensive Trust & Safety onboarding process and meet all local, state, and enterprise childcare compliance standards. (CPR/First Aid certification is a plus!)
  • Empathy: You genuinely care about helping families and hanging with kids.
