Welocalize is seeking a Maps Quality Tester for a 12-month contract role in Austin, working remotely. The position involves ensuring the quality of mapping applications by working closely with the development team. Responsibilities include testing, providing feedback, and creating reports. The ideal candidate has experience with maps, data, mobile navigation, and strong communication skills. A background in GIS or a related degree is preferred.

Our testers will work closely with the development team to ensure the client organization ships the highest quality application. The candidate should possess the ability to quickly grasp and distill highly complex matters into clean, understandable reports. The candidate must also be an effective diplomat with strong communication and organizational skills, who is willing to prove him or herself within a company of talented individuals.
