Role summary

We are seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team, focused on building cloud technology solutions for local businesses. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring 1-2 days per week in-office. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and peer engineers to deliver product features, advocating for test-driven development and high-quality software. The ideal candidate has 8-12+ years of experience, proficiency in languages like Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript, and a strong foundation in programming principles, scalable systems, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms like AWS. Experience with NextJS is a plus.

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

This is a full-time, hybrid position with 1 to 2 days a week in-office to support close cross-functional collaboration.

Day In The Life

You are a seasoned Software Engineer with a strong background in full-stack application development.

Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and peer engineers to deliver well-scoped product features.

Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Engineering, Product, GTM, and Customer Success teams.

You advocate for and practice test-driven development (TDD) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software.

Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Who You Are

8 to 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Proficiency in at least one or more of the following languages: Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript, with experience developing full-stack, high-performance, and high-availability applications.

Strong foundation in programming principles and design patterns.

Experience building scalable systems and test-driven CI/CD with a commitment to quality software development.

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB, have comprehensive understanding of the decision-making process between SQL and NoSQL databases

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS

Demonstrated experience in designing distributed systems with a holistic perspective.

Keep up with the latest technological trends and continuously improve productivity.

Experience with NextJS or other front end technologies

Salary Range

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is between $160,000 to $180,000 in Lehi, Utah. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
