Role summary
Zenity is seeking a Head of Social to be the first dedicated social media marketer for their AI Agent Security platform. This role will focus on building Zenity's brand presence and establishing it as a leading voice in AI security. Responsibilities include managing social channels, developing a B2B employee advocacy program, and creating innovative content that highlights Zenity's research and platform. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in B2B tech, security, or developer brand building, with a strong portfolio demonstrating success in turning technical topics into shareable content. This is a remote, full-time position with significant creative freedom and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
About the Role
AI agents are getting hijacked, tricked, and turned against the companies that deploy them. Zenity stops that, and our research proves it by breaking agents that the biggest companies in the world use. Our online presence doesn't yet sound like our research. That's why this role exists.
This isn't a Social Media Manager role where you schedule posts and report on impressions. You'll be the first person whose whole job is to get Zenity's name out there and make us one of the loudest, sharpest, and most-shared voices in AI security. You'll run our social channels day to day, build a B2B employee advocacy program, and come up with the creative ideas that put Zenity on the map at the biggest conferences in security.
This role reports to the CMO.
About Zenity
Zenity is the leader in AI Agent Security and the first company to bring an agent-centric security platform to market. As enterprises accelerate AI agent adoption, we are establishing the security framework for how AI agents are secured and governed at enterprise scale.
We deliver full-lifecycle visibility, governance, detection, prevention, and response for AI agents from build time to runtime, across SaaS, home-grown platforms, and end-user devices. Backed by $180M+ in total funding, including a $125M Series C led by Norwest, with participation from SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Microsoft's M12, Zenity is trusted by Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprises worldwide.
Gartner named Zenity a Market Shaper in its inaugural Emerging Market Quadrant for AI Application Security, Startup Vendors, one of only two vendors placed in the Market Shapers quadrant among nearly 20 startup vendors assessed. This follows Gartner naming Zenity the Company to Beat in AI Agent Governance earlier this year.
Join us in shaping how AI agents are secured at enterprise scale.
What You’ll Do

What You've Done
Must-haves
- You've spent 4+ years building an audience for a B2B tech, security, or developer brand, or for yourself, and you can show us the numbers: what took off, what flopped, and why.
- Your portfolio makes us smile and makes us think "wait, that's smart."
- You write sharply, think visually, and edit video fast. CapCut, Figma, Canva, or whatever you use; we care about output, not tools.
- You've turned a technical topic into something people actually share, and you can show us. Think "indirect prompt injection via MCP tool poisoning," made human.
- You've reacted to breaking news within hours, and you can tell a meme that lands from one that's three weeks stale.
- You've gotten employees, or yourself, to show up on social in a way that worked, and you can explain how you got people to post and what happened when they did.
- You use AI tools and agents in your workflow every day and can tell us which ones are overrated and why.
- You ship 10 ideas to find the 1 that takes off, and you can point to the other 9 without getting precious about them.
Bonus points
- You've built a following of your own: a channel, newsletter, community, or account.
- You've created a brand character, recurring series, or campaign people still remember.
- You've turned a conference or live event into social content that traveled beyond the venue.
- You've worked in cybersecurity, or at an early-stage startup where the role wasn't scoped for you.
What We Look For At Zenity
- You take ownership of outcomes, not just activity, and you don't need a detailed brief on what to create.
- You move fast and hold a high bar for your own work.
- You're comfortable building where the playbook is still being written.
- You work easily with researchers, executives, and the field team, and pick up technical topics quickly.
What Success Looks Like
- 30 days: the content engine is running, your AI studio is set up, and the first experiments are live.
- 90 days: reach and engagement are clearly growing, employee advocacy is under way, at least one moment has broken out of the security bubble, and you're running a repeatable weekly cadence.
- 6 months: prospects, partners, investors, and competitors know what a Zenity post looks like, our conference presence is something people talk about, and employees are posting about Zenity without being chased.
Why This Role
- First access to the research. Our researchers find new ways to attack AI agents before anyone else does. You'll be in the room, and you'll help decide how the world hears about it.
- Real creative freedom, no committee. You get a direct line to the CEO and a team that ships what you come up with.
- Permission to be bold. Security marketing is a sea of navy-blue padlocks and "trusted platform" copy. We'd rather be funny, sharp, and a little provocative, and still be right.
- A new way of working. We're building a modern marketing org where one great operator with the right agents does the work of a much larger team. If you've wanted to work this way and your current company won't let you, this is the place.
This Probably Isn't for You If
- You don't live and breathe social media and the trends moving through it.
- "Thought leadership carousel" is your favorite format.
- You'd rather report on engagement than create it.
Zenity is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We enable enterprises to adopt AI agents securely and at scale, and that starts with building a team that reflects a wide range of perspectives and experiences. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
We’re committed to creating an inclusive environment where talented people can do their best work, securely, confidently, and with impact.
