Role summary

ZF Active Safety US Inc. is seeking a Packer for their Parts & Service team in Garrett, United States. This role involves packaging and light assembly of automotive service distribution products, following process sheets, reporting quality issues, and maintaining packing rates. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally and work effectively in a team environment. A HS Diploma or GED, manufacturing experience, process and detail orientation, and basic mechanical abilities are preferred.

Job Description

About the Team: The ZF Garrett team supports packaging and light assembly of braking, electronics, and steering products for the automotive service distribution.

Pay: $16.50hour + $1 shift premium

Hours: 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Responsibilities:

Follow process sheet when packing and report quality issues
Record and maintain packing rates; report all scrap
Count production labels, pallets, finished goods, etc.
Be customer focused and provide opportunities for improvement
Capable of lifting up to 50lbs occasionally
Able to work in a team environment

Qualifications:

HS Dip or GED preferred
Team orientated
Manufacturing experience preferred
Process and detail oriented
Basic mechanical abilities preferred
