Role summary

ABC Supply, a wholesale distributor of building products, seeks an Inside Sales Associate to provide customer service and drive sales. Responsibilities include identifying customer needs, recommending products, processing orders, managing payments, coordinating pickups, and resolving service issues. The role requires strong communication, time management, and basic computer skills. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of experience in roofing, siding, and windows, and familiarity with Salesforce. This is an onsite, full-time position focused on building product sales and customer satisfaction.

Specific duties may include:

Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
Answering telephones and entering sales orders
Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Basic computer skills
Positive attitude and team player
Detail and service-oriented
