Role summary

Horsepower Automotive Group (HPAG) is seeking an experienced Robotic Weld Operator to program, operate, and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment for off-road truck accessories. The role involves manual welding, fabrication using CAD prints, quality inspection, and production tracking in a fully air-conditioned facility. Candidates should have 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience and 1+ year of robotic welding experience, with a strong understanding of welding processes and sheet metal fabrication. Experience with OTC robotic welders is a plus. The position offers competitive hourly pay ($20-$26/hr), weekly pay, benefits, and a Monday-Friday schedule.

What You'll Be Doing

Run the Robots! Program, train, fine-tune, and operate robotic welding equipment.

Keep Production Rolling! Troubleshoot welding issues, minimize downtime, and keep those robots running efficiently.

Make Sparks Fly! Perform manual welding and fabrication when needed.

Build It Right! Fabricate steel components and complete assemblies using CAD prints and specifications.

Finish Strong! Grind, finish, and inspect products to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Know Your Numbers! Track daily production counts and help keep production goals on target.

Check Your Work! Verify measurements, weld quality, and finished assemblies.

Safety First! Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What You Bring to the Crew

Hands-on experience programming, operating, and troubleshooting robotic welders.

Strong understanding of welding processes, fabrication, and assembly.

Experience with sheet metal fabrication, bending, cut-off saws, and grinders.

Ability to read CAD prints, schematics, and technical drawings.

An eye for quality and pride in craftsmanship.

Ability to troubleshoot problems and keep production moving.

A self-motivated attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work.

A team-first mindset — because great products take a great crew!

Ability to adapt and stay productive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Must-Haves

High school diploma or GED.

Must be at least 18 years old.

2+ years of welding and fabrication experience.

1+ year of hands-on robotic welding experience.

Experience with OTC robotic welders is a big plus!
