About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Staff iOS Engineer to join our dynamic team and help architect our mobile applications for the upcoming growth phase over the next 2-3 years. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading the design and development of high-quality, stable, and low latency mobile apps. This role offers an exciting opportunity to re-architect our product from the ground up, leading key components of our iOS mobile platform as we expand into new product areas.
As a vital member of our team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure our mobile app scales efficiently and meets the evolving needs of millions of users. Your expertise will help shape the user experience, improve development practices, and contribute to the overall strategic direction of our mobile offerings.
Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience in mobile application development with a focus on iOS platforms.
  • Proficiency in Swift programming language and deep understanding of iOS development frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile app UX best practices and experience in designing intuitive user interfaces.
  • Experience leading large-scale projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Ability to translate design mocks (including Figma files) into high-quality, functional code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to architect new products and define engaging user experiences optimized for iOS devices.
  • Provide expertise in iOS app development, helping to improve team practices, design patterns, deployment processes, and overall customer experience.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from product, marketing, and other departments to align initiatives with key performance indicators and business goals.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code for app features, components, and integrations.
  • Participate actively in all phases of the development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct code reviews, participate in standups, planning meetings, and product demonstrations to foster continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential to enhance our mobile offerings and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Mentor and support the growth of other engineers on the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
