Role summary

Seeking a Senior iOS Engineer in Vancouver, Canada, for a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in iOS development, with strong proficiency in Swift, Xcode, and the iOS SDK. Responsibilities include building native iOS applications, implementing new features and optimizations, integrating third-party libraries and APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture), RESTful APIs, mobile testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines is essential. Familiarity with cross-platform tools like Flutter or React Native, and mobile databases like Core Data or Realm, is a plus.

Job Description

  • 7+ years of experience in iOS development
  • Strong experience in Swift, Xcode, and iOS SDK and UI kit
  • Build native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C following clean code principles
  • Translate design wireframes and mockups into high-quality, interactive mobile interfaces
  • Implement new features, enhancements, and performance optimizations across existing apps
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and deliver app functionality
  • Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and cloud-based services
  • Strong knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
  • Experience with mobile testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cross-platform tools like Flutter or React Native is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Core Data, Realm, or other mobile database technologies
  • Understanding of accessibility and localization standards
  • Exposure to XCTest, Quick, or Nimble for unit and UI testing
