About The Role

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of six years of hands-on experience in native Android application development using Java and Kotlin. You should have a strong background in application and data design, architecture, and development, with proven expertise in building robust, scalable mobile applications. Experience with modern Android development tools and frameworks such as RxJava, Coroutines, Dagger, Espresso, JUnit, and Jenkins is essential. Additionally, you should have demonstrated ability to mentor junior and intermediate developers, guiding them through technical challenges and best practices.
A bachelor's, master's, or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required. The candidate should also have a solid understanding of software engineering principles, development lifecycle, and best practices in agile environments.
Responsibilities

  • Own the technical design, architecture, and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems, ensuring they meet quality, security, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Enhance software engineering practices by working within agile teams to design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions across a full stack of development tools and technologies.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior, intermediate, and senior mobile developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their relevance and potential integration into existing systems.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices, coding standards, and documentation to ensure code quality and maintainability.
