About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Contract Java/Kotlin Developer to join our client's team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge mobile applications for well-known brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Android applications using Kotlin and Java, ensuring seamless integration with various APIs and services. The position is fully remote, providing flexibility and the chance to collaborate with a talented team of professionals from diverse locations. This contract position is expected to last for over three months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in mobile application development with expertise in Kotlin and Java. Prior experience working with Android SDK, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL is essential. Familiarity with React Native, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), Android Pay, and JitPack will be advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with at least three years of relevant experience in mobile app development. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also required.
Responsibilities
