Role summary

The Shipping and Receiving Technician will be responsible for packing and shipping customer orders, receiving incoming materials, and managing inventory within the Operations team. Key duties include adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), documenting receiving logs, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining adequate shipping supplies. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in shipping/receiving, a good understanding of warehouse management procedures, computer literacy with MS Office/Windows, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience with major shippers like FedEx, UPS, and DHL, as well as in ISO 13485 and GMP environments, is preferred.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Shipping and Receiving Technician to join our Operations team. A qualified candidate is responsible for packing and shipping customer orders, receiving incoming materials including managing inventory.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fill customer orders per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure that products processed for shipping are delegated to the correct courier.
  • Receive and inspect incoming raw materials per SOPs. Document daily receiving log.
  • Assist in organizing warehouse inventory and routine inventory counts. Maintain good records of warehouse activities. Apply applicable labels to the inventory items in the warehouse.
  • Maintain and organize adequate shipping supplies.
  • Use manual and electric pallet jacket as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in Shipping/Receiving area.
  • Assist in other areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with 4+ years’ experience in Shipping/Receiving.
  • Good understanding of warehouse management procedures.
  • Detail-oriented, efficient and a team player.
  • Experience working in ISO 13485 and GMP environment is a plus.
  • Experience working with major shippers: FedEx, UPS and DHL highly desired.
  • Computer literate. Proficient with MS Office/Windows.
  • Available to work extended hours.
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • The base salary range for this full-time position is $25/hour - $30/hour + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
