Role Description

This is a part-time, off-site role in the Greater Clarksville Area for a Cloud Engineer. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include configuring cloud services, developing scalable software solutions, implementing security best practices, managing Linux systems, and maintaining databases. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support the company’s AI-driven initiatives is also a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Software Development, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging solutions
  • Experience with configuring and managing Cloud Computing platforms and Infrastructure
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration and management
  • Knowledge of Databases, including design, optimization, and management
  • Understanding of security best practices and application of those in cloud environments
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on scalability and efficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in AI, machine learning, or big data technologies is a plus
