Fixed-Term Contract – Maternity Cover (12 months)

About the Role

We are looking for a well-rounded and results-driven Senior Integrated Marketing Manager to join our marketing team on a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave.

In this role, you will lead the execution of integrated marketing activities in Canada, overseeing both performance media, in collaboration with the Performance Marketing Manager, and brand and upper-funnel marketing initiatives.

You will play a key role in ensuring our marketing strategy delivers a consistent customer experience across the full customer journey, from brand awareness and consideration through to conversion and acquisition.

Working closely with internal teams, external agencies and international stakeholders, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, using data and insights to drive results, challenge traditional approaches and identify new opportunities for growth.

What You Will Do...

  • Integrated Marketing: Lead integrated campaigns in Canada, aligning brand and performance marketing activities across the full customer journey.
  • Media & Agency Management: Oversee external media and creative agencies, challenging recommendations and identifying opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Performance & Optimisation: Monitor marketing KPIs, use data and insights to optimise campaigns, and drive a test-and-learn approach.
  • Budget & Project Management: Manage marketing budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and against agreed objectives.
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across Canada, the UK and the US to align local activities with global marketing strategies.

Who You Are...

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong background in integrated marketing, media strategy and campaign execution.
  • Proven experience managing external media agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of both brand-building and performance marketing, with the ability to connect activities across the full customer journey.
  • Experience using data, analytics and marketing KPIs to evaluate performance and inform decisions.
  • A test-and-learn mindset, with the ability to challenge existing approaches and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent project management, organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed organisation, managing stakeholders across different markets and time zones.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities and balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

Experience can be either agency-side or client-side, provided you have the ability to manage agency relationships and deliver effective marketing campaigns.

Experience in a subscription-based business, e-commerce or loyalty programmes would be an advantage.

Familiarity with the genealogy or DNA testing industry is welcome but not essential.

A bachelor's degree is required.

Working Arrangements

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role offers remote working with occasional office attendance. As the position involves collaboration with stakeholders in the UK and US, flexibility to attend occasional meetings outside standard working hours will be required.
