Role summary

Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC) is seeking a Concrete Project Manager Intern for their Richmond Heights location. This internship offers hands-on experience assisting Superintendents on various construction projects, including learning about scheduling, subcontractor communication, and overall project management. The role requires enrollment in a Construction Management or Civil Engineering program with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Previous co-op or intern construction experience is preferred. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, housing, per diem, and potential for a full-time offer post-graduation.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

At MCC, an Intern works during the summer and has the opportunity to assist Superintendents with the following:

  • Work on Jobsites and get hands on experience from our expert field personnel on projects in a variety of industries including, commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, entertainment and more
  • Learn various skills from the Superintendent on the job including creating schedules, talking to subcontractors, running a project smoothly from start to finish and working with the Superintendent on the jobsite
  • You will make a meaningful contribution to ARCO’s success, performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle

    • NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related degree programs
  • Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0
  • Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds
