Role summary

ATC is seeking a self-starting Program Manager to lead government-funded R&D programs. This role serves as a key interface between ATC, government customers, engineering teams, and subcontractors. Responsibilities include managing program scope, schedule, cost, and risk; supporting customer engagements; coordinating cross-functional teams; monitoring deliverables; identifying and mitigating risks; contributing to proposal development; and applying structured execution methods. A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in a government contracting or technical environment are required. The candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

ATC is seeking a self-starting Program Manager to support and lead government-funded research and development programs. The Program Manager serves as a key interface between ATC, government customers, engineering teams, and subcontractor partners. Programs may include laboratory and field experimentation, sensor and imaging system development, demonstrations, mission-relevant technology integration and related areas.
Responsibilities
The Program Manager will execute assigned programs and task orders in accordance with contract requirements and customer intent. Tasks include:

  • Manage program scope, schedule, cost, and risk; maintain actionable program baselines and trackers
  • Support and/or lead customer-facing engagements including TIMs, PMRs, and recurring status meetings
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, contracts, finance, and logistics teams
  • Monitor deliverables, manage action items, and ensure high-quality submissions (technical reports, schedules, briefings)
  • Identify execution risks early; develop mitigation plans and communicate impacts to leadership and stakeholders
  • Contribute to proposal development including ROMs, staffing plans, and schedule development
  • Apply structured execution methods (including Agile practices when appropriate) to track progress and unblock teams

Requirements
This position requires the following experience and capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or 5equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience supporting program execution in a government contracting and/or technical environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder communications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple teams
  • Professional communication skills, including customer-ready writing and briefing capability
  • The Candidate must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
