Role summary

Atwell is seeking a licensed Civil Project Engineer with 4+ years of experience in land development to lead projects in the Seattle metro area. The role involves designing and overseeing site civil improvements, managing projects from due diligence through construction, and navigating permitting processes with local municipalities. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required, with preferred experience in WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD.     What You'll Do

  • Lead residential, commercial, mixed-use, and site development projects throughout the Seattle/Puget Sound region.
  • Design and oversee grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, roadway, and site civil improvements.
  • Manage projects from due diligence and entitlements through construction.
  • Navigate permitting and approvals with local municipalities and agencies.
  • Collaborate directly with clients, helping turn development opportunities into successful projects.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of Atwell's land development presence in the Seattle market.

    • What We're Looking For

    Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 4+ years of civil land development experience.
  • Experience with site design, grading, drainage, utilities, and entitlement/permitting processes.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

    • Preferred

  • Experience with WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD.
  • Familiarity with Seattle-area jurisdictions and permitting requirements.
  • Strong client-facing and project management skills.

    Pay Range$105,000—$140,000 USD
