Role summary
Authority is seeking a Corporate Treasury Advisor with current United States market intelligence for a flexible, paid consulting role. The advisor will provide written or recorded commentary on financial developments, review articles and forecast assumptions, and explain practical implications for companies and investors. This role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience and the ability to clearly articulate complex issues. The engagement is remote within the US, with up to 2 hours per month dedicated to commentary and occasional calls.
Authority is building an industry intelligence platform that combines expert insight with data to improve online news coverage and forecasts about business, financial and economic outcomes.
We are looking for a Corporate Treasury Advisor who is currently active in the United States market and has up-to-date market intelligence. This is a flexible, paid consulting engagement of up to 2 hours per month.
What you will do
- Provide concise written or recorded commentary on current developments, market shifts and likely business outcomes.
- Review articles, reports and forecast assumptions for accuracy, especially in working capital, debt and capital structure, hedging, treasury technology, controls and governance.
- Explain the practical implications for companies, investors and decision-makers.
- Contribute insight that may be featured in Authority content and major industry news outlets.
- When relevant, consider separate market advisory opportunities with organizations in our client base.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Currently operating in the United States market with up-to-date local market intelligence.
- Firsthand exposure to important financial, commercial or investment decisions in this field.
- Ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
- A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant experience.
Engagement details
- Independent consulting contract.
- Remote within the United States.
- Up to 2 paid consulting hours per month.
- Flexible assignments, primarily short commentary and occasional calls.
- Additional advisory work may be offered separately based on fit and client demand.
