Role summary
C3 AI is looking for Data Scientist interns for Summer 2027 to work on enterprise AI applications using the C3 Agentic AI Platform. Interns will collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and subject matter experts to define analytics capabilities, select and implement AI/ML algorithms at scale, and understand algorithm limitations. Responsibilities include driving AI adoption, designing ML algorithms for industrial applications like fraud detection and predictive maintenance, and working with data experts to utilize new data elements. The role requires a strong foundation in AI, machine learning, agentic AI techniques, and mathematical concepts, with experience in Python or R and scalable ML.

C3 AI is seeking Data Scientist interns to join us during our Summer 2027 internship program.
As a member of the C3 AI Data Science team, you will work with some of the largest companies on the planet helping them build the next generation of AI-powered enterprise applications on the C3 Agentic AI Platform (c3.ai/customers/). You will work directly with data scientists, AI engineers, and subject matter experts in the definition of new analytics capabilities in order to provide our customers with the information they need to make proper decisions and enable their digital transformation. You will help find the appropriate AI/machine learning algorithms to answer those questions and implement them on the C3 Agentic AI Platform so they can run at scale.
Qualified candidates will have an in-depth knowledge of most common AI, machine learning, and agentic AI techniques and their application. Also, you will understand the limitations of these algorithms and how to tweak them or derive from them to achieve similar results at large-scale.
