Role summary
CentiMark Corporation, a leader in commercial and industrial roofing, seeks a full-time Quality Control Coordinator for the Kalamazoo, MI area. This role involves overseeing daily roofing project production, monitoring safety and installation quality, and managing customer communication. The QA Rep will report to the field supervisor, customer, and management, and is responsible for paperwork, timesheets, and ensuring adherence to CentiMark Safety policies. The ideal candidate will lead their team to install quality roofs safely and efficiently within provided hours. A positive work history, teamwork, and general roofing experience are required, along with knowledge of commercial/industrial roofing procedures and safety. Experience with Single Ply, EPDM, PVC, & TPO, and previous roofing/sales experience are preferred. A valid driver's license is necessary, and weekend work may be required.
Summary of Job Description:The QA Rep will be responsible for overseeing daily production of roofing projects. Monitor safety, quality of installation’s, and daily customer communication. QA Rep will report directly to the field supervisor, customer and management.
They will be responsible for paperwork, timesheets and ensuring that CentiMark Safety policies are followed. The QA Rep should be able to take their team and install a quality CentiMark roof with hours provided and in a safe and orderly manner
Job Requirements:
- The successful candidate must show a positive work history and the ability to work within a team environment.
- Minimum experience in general roofing.
- Working knowledge of commercial/industrial roofing procedures and safety.
- Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Experience with: Single Ply, EPDM, PVC & TPO a plus. Previous Roofing and sales experience preferred.
- A valid driver’s license (in good standing).
- Able to work Saturday and/or Sunday, if needed
