Role summary
CoxHealth is seeking an Environmental Services Technician for Meyer Orthopedic Rehab Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves maintaining environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures. Essential duties include cleaning and maintaining hospital areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, which may require travel between facilities. The technician will also respond to and initiate communication via phone, handheld radios, and pagers. The position operates on the Evening Shift and requires the ability to work alone frequently and stand/walk continually. Awareness of safety protocols, including MSDS and PPE, is crucial, as is advocating for patient health, safety, and rights.
