Role summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a Software Developer Co-Op for Summer 2027. This role involves writing and modifying computer programs using Java, Angular, or similar languages, testing and reviewing code, and collaborating with business analysts on requirements. The position utilizes Scrum within the development team. Candidates must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, possess programming and analysis experience, and have strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This is a hybrid remote position requiring a reasonable commute for some onsite work. Indefinite work authorization is required, and sponsorship is not provided.

Job Responsibilities:

Write and/or modify computer programs using Java, Angular, or similar computer language
Test and review work by other developers
Work with business analysts to clarify requirements
Utilize Scrum as a member of the development team

Job Qualifications:

Pursuing a two or four-year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field.
Experience in programming and analysis, along with strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills necessary.
Candidate must be a highly self-motivated individual with an attention to detail.
Ability to follow and write testing procedures to confirm product quality.
Must have own means of reliable transportation.

***Remote Work: Crown offers hybrid remote work for this position. A reasonable commute is necessary as some onsite work is required.
