SUMMARY

Responsible for cross-functional management of specific product(s) or solution(s) through their entire life cycle. Works across functional areas to implement product/solution strategies and maintain the product roadmap. Analyzes markets to determine opportunities and ensures offerings are defined to maximize profitability. Evaluates and adjusts product strategies to respond to competition.

  • Use for jobs that responsible for developing/maintaining internal systems and tools. Jobs that are responsible for developing products that are sold to customers should use Engineering R&D jobs.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Own the capability roadmap — sequence what the spine can newly do (foundation→ hardened → cross-domain → platform), grounded in dependencies, not dates.
  • Run consumer intake and prioritization across agent teams, discovery, remediation, and content — turning asks into capability requirements, not bespoke builds.
  • Coordinate stakeholders — the Ontology Council and the domain teams that publish data.
  • Hold the line on "build the backbone, not use-case solutions" when a consumer pushes for a one-off.
  • Partner with the Overall Lead and Architects to keep roadmap, delivery, and architecture in step.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experienced product leadership on a platform, API, or data / ML product — you've owned a roadmap serving multiple internal consumers.
  • A track record of saying no to one-offs to protect a platform.
  • Fluency with technical teams — you hold your own on architecture and data.
  • Bonus: agentic AI, knowledge graph, or commerce-domain background.
