Role summary

DensityAI is seeking a Contracts Manager to own their contracting engine, managing the full lifecycle of vendor, services, and supply-chain agreements. This role involves drafting, redlining, execution, and obligation tracking for high-volume contracts, as well as building scalable templates and playbooks. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in commercial contracts management, hands-on drafting skills, and experience with CLM platforms. This is a hybrid role with a strong emphasis on independent operation and process building within a fast-moving startup environment. Experience in semiconductor or supply-chain contracting is preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Own the contracting engine behind DensityAI's business. Reporting into the legal team, you'll run the full contract lifecycle - intake, drafting, redlining, approval, execution, and obligation tracking - across vendor, services, and supply-chain agreements. You'll handle volume independently so our counsel can stay focused on the complex technology and foundry transaActions, and you'll build the templates, playbooks, and systems that let contracting scale as the company grows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the contract lifecycle end to end - intake, drafting, redlining, routing for approval, execution, and post-signature obligation tracking
  • Draft and negotiate high-volume agreements from templates: NDAs, vendor and services agreements, SOWs, purchase terms, and amendments
  • Support counsel on semiconductor supply-chain agreements - foundry, OSAT, and contract manufacturing (MSAs, MPAs, capacity and pricing, NRE/tooling)
  • Build and maintain the contract repository, template set, clause library, and negotiation playbooks
  • Stand up and administer CLM tooling; define intake and approval workflows with legal, finance, and supply chain
  • Track obligations, renewals, expirations, and deliverables; surface risk and escalate to counsel
  • Partner with supply chain, finance, engineering, and GTM to unblock deals and keep cycle times down
  • Use and develop AI-assisted tool flows to accelerate drafting, review, and contract reporting
  • WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years managing commercial contracts in-house, at a law firm, or in a contracts or procurement function
  • Hands-on drafting and redlining of NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and vendor and services agreements
  • Demonstrated ownership of a contract lifecycle end to end, including post-signature obligation management
  • Working knowledge of CLM platforms (Ironclad, Agiloft, DocuSign CLM, LinkSquares, or equivalent) and e-signature workflows
  • Strong organizational discipline - you keep a high-volume queue moving without dropping obligations
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving startup and building process where none exists
  • (Optional) Semiconductor, hardware, or supply-chain contracting; foundry, OSAT, or contract-manufacturing agreements; export-control awareness (EAR/ITAR); data privacy and DPAs; paralegal certification or JD; experience supporting an early-stage legal team
  • Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications.
