Role summary
Durabuilt Windows & Doors is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative for their Lethbridge team. This role involves managing inbound sales inquiries, converting opportunities, preparing quotes, and providing product support (75% of time). The remaining 25% will focus on proactive prospecting, business development, and building new relationships. The ideal candidate has previous sales experience with customer service and business development, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and is comfortable with outbound calls and managing multiple priorities. Experience in the construction or building materials industry is a plus. This position offers development in both inside sales and business development.
Build relationships. Grow business. Develop your sales career.
Durabuilt Windows & Doors is one of Western Canada’s largest window and door manufacturers, proudly serving homeowners, builders, contractors, and retailers since 1988. Headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, we are recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies; a reflection not only of our innovative products, but of the incredible people behind them.
We are a team of doers, thinkers, and problem-solvers who care deeply about each other and the customers we serve. If you are passionate about meaningful work, building relationships, and contributing to a trusted Canadian brand, you’ll feel right at home with us.
We’re looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our Lethbridge team. This isn’t strictly an inbound sales role. While approximately 75% of your time will focus on Inside Sales and customer support, about 25% will be dedicated to proactive prospecting and business development, creating new relationships and building your own book of business.
If you enjoy working with customers but also have the drive to go after new opportunities, this could be a great next step in your sales career.
What You’ll Do
- Manage inbound sales inquiries and convert opportunities into sales.
- Prepare quotes, pricing and sales orders while providing knowledgeable product support.
- Support showroom customers and help identify the right solutions for their projects.
- Proactively prospect for new business through outbound calls, emails, networking and lead follow-up.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities and develop your own book of business over time.
- Build relationships with builders, contractors, trade professionals and other potential customers.
- Follow up on leads, quotes and existing opportunities to help move business forward.
- Work closely with the Outside Sales team to support regional sales growth.
- Maintain accurate customer, sales and order information in company systems.
- Provide proactive after-sales support and help resolve customer questions or concerns.
What You Bring
- Previous sales experience with a combination of customer service and business development.
- Confidence making outbound calls and approaching prospective customers.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach - you’re comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them.
- Strong relationship-building, communication and listening skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customers, leads and priorities.
- Comfortable learning technical products, quoting processes and sales systems.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Construction, building materials, windows and doors, or related industry experience is an asset, not a requirement. We’re willing to train the right salesperson.
Why This Role?
This position gives you the opportunity to develop both your Inside Sales and business development skills. As you build product knowledge, customer relationships and your own book of business, you’ll gain valuable exposure to the skills used in Outside Sales and broader sales opportunities.
Why Durabuilt?
Because we are:
INNOVATIVE - You’ll be part of a team that’s always looking to improve and create value.
ACCOUNTABLE - We stand behind our work, our people, and our brand.
CARING - We genuinely support each other, our customers, and our communities.
GROWTH-MINDED - We invest in your development and expect the very best from you.
We believe in diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity for all. We welcome applicants of every background, experience, and identity.
