The Mission

The global private capital market exceeds $10 trillion, yet much of its software infrastructure remains fragmented and outdated. EigenPro aims to build the AI layer for private markets, enabling investment teams to operate with dramatically higher intelligence and efficiency.

What You’ll Architect

As the first AI hire, you won't just "wrap an API." You will own the core IP:

- Advanced RAG & Reasoning:
Design high-fidelity pipelines capable of parsing 200-page LPAs and quarterly reports with zero tolerance for hallucination.
- Knowledge Graph Integration:
Build a unified semantic layer that maps the intricate web of global private equity, connecting entities, funds, and performance data.
- Agentic Workflows:
Develop autonomous agents that perform multi-step financial analysis, from data extraction to IRR sensitivity modeling.
- Privacy-First Infrastructure:
Architect secure, enterprise-grade AI services that handle highly sensitive financial data (SOC2/HIPAA-level rigor).

Who You Are

- Academic Excellence:
PhD or PhD candidate in CS, ML, or AI (preferred). You’ve published at top-tier conferences like
NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR
.
- The "Full-Stack" AI Mindset:
You can read a research paper in the morning and deploy a production-ready microservice by the evening.
- Deep Graph/LLM Expertise:
Strong experience with Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) or Knowledge Graphs, combined with modern LLM orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom frameworks).
- Entrepreneurial Grit:
You thrive in the "Zero to One" phase. You are comfortable making high-stakes architectural decisions with incomplete information.
- Local Presence:
Based in (or willing to relocate to) the
Boston/Cambridge
ecosystem to collaborate deeply with the founding team.
