Role summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to work with children aged birth to 5 years in sensory gyms and preschools across Westchester County, NY. This role involves designing and implementing therapeutic interventions, conducting evaluations, managing caseloads, and collaborating with families and school teams. Both Fee for Service and Full-Time positions are available with flexible scheduling. The company offers comprehensive benefits for full-time employees and valuable benefits for part-time employees working 25+ hours. A sign-on bonus is available for full-time employees. Candidates must have a degree in Occupational Therapy and a current New York State Occupational Therapy License (new grads welcome).

*$500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment with active cases-10hr weekly minimum*

Location: One of our State of the Art Sensory Gyms (Harrison or White Plains, NY)

Preschools across Westchester County also available

Status: Fee for Service and/or Full-Time

Hours: 1-5 days/week with flexible schedule!

Compensation:

Fee for Service rates:

  • Early Intervention: $71-$75/hour
  • Preschool: $$75-$130/hour

    • OR

  • Full-Time, salary also available

    Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
  • Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
  • Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
  • Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
  • Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
  • Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
  • Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

    • Responsibilities for Evaluations:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations in clinic, home and/or preschool based settings
  • Write detailed speech and language evaluation reports demonstrating the child’s abilities and areas of difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and the evaluation team
  • Develop appropriate functional goals using IEP direct

  • Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current New York State Occupational Therapy License (new grads welcome pending licensure)
  • Bilingual is a plus
