Role summary

FirstSteps is seeking a Behavior Technician to work with children aged 2-13 with autism. The role involves providing one-on-one therapy and building clinical skills. Paid training and RBT certification are provided, along with opportunities for pay increases through an Instructor Development Program. Candidates should have experience in child-focused professions and possess reliable transportation and the physical ability to perform job duties. This is a full-time, onsite position with competitive pay and benefits.

$23–$25/hr + Paid RBT Certification + Multiple $1/hr Growth Opportunities

Our Instructor Development & Engagement Program gives you a clear path to build your skills. Complete an Instructor Development Bundle + 350 hours of direct clinical experience → earn a $1/hr raise.

What You’ll Get

$23–$25/hr to start DOE

Health & Safety Requirements:

Childhood vaccinations (MMR & Varicella) and non-reactive TB test

Access to reliable a reliable vehicle, driver's license, and insurance

Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors and/or child-sized furniture, and quickly move from a seated position to running stance
