Role summary

FirstSteps is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children aged 2-13 with autism. The role involves using creativity, patience, and motivation to help children develop communication, play, social, and life skills. No prior ABA experience is required, as the company provides training and pays for RBT certification. The position offers multiple growth opportunities with pay raises tied to skill development and clinical experience. $23–$25/hr + Paid RBT Certification + Multiple $1/hr Growth Opportunities

Health & Safety Requirements

Childhood vaccinations (MMR and Varicella) and a non-reactive TB test

Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance

Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors or child-sized furniture, and move quickly from a seated position to a running stance
