Role summary

FirstSteps for Kids is seeking a Behavior Technician to work with children aged 2-13, primarily those with autism. The role involves providing one-on-one support, building clinical skills, and collecting data. The company offers paid training for RBT certification, multiple opportunities for hourly raises through an Instructor Development Program, and benefits including health insurance, 401(k) match, and PTO. No prior ABA experience is required, but experience in psychology, education, childcare, or other helping professions is a plus. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to meet physical requirements.

$23–$25/hr + Paid RBT Certification + Multiple $1/hr Growth Opportunities

What You’ll Get

Health & Safety Requirements:

Childhood vaccinations (MMR & Varicella) and non-reactive TB test

Access to reliable a reliable vehicle, driver's license, and insurance

Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors and/or child-sized furniture, and quickly move from a seated position to running stance
