Role summary
Fullmind is seeking a remote, 1099 contract 8th grade ELA Educator. This role involves delivering virtual instruction, developing lesson plans, tracking student performance, and partnering with in-class facilitators. Candidates must hold an active USA state-issued teaching certification and have a Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator is required. Prior online teaching experience is a plus. The position runs from October 2026 through May 2027, with a daily rate of $255-$260.

- Fully remote, 1099 contract position
- Daily Rate: $255-260; rates are negotiable and subject to change
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM EST
- Start Date: 10/9/26, run through end of school year (5/26/27)

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.
As a Fullmind educator, you will:
- Access our educator portal to select the jobs you take on
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
- Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
- Engage and nurture student learning through thoughtful, relationship-focused strategies
- Track student grades and performance
- Attend district PD sessions and faculty meetings
- Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and currently hold an active, USA state-issued teaching certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process.
- Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
