Role summary

Galaxy Sports seeks a high-energy Program Director for its youth sports programs across the Treasure Coast. This hands-on role involves overseeing daily operations, managing coaches, and ensuring a positive experience for children aged 2-12. Responsibilities include leading weekday preschool programs and weekend leagues, managing staff, traveling between locations, communicating with parents and school staff, setting up equipment, and resolving issues promptly. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and thrives in an active environment. Availability for weekday mornings and weekends is essential. This is a full-time or part-time position based in Port St. Lucie, Jupiter, and Palm City.

Job Overview

Galaxy Sports is looking for a high-energy, reliable Program Director to lead and manage our youth sports programs across the Treasure Coast. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, coaching staff, and delivering an incredible experience for kids ages 2–12.

You will manage weekday preschool programs (Monday–Friday mornings) and weekend leagues, ensuring all sessions run smoothly, on time, and at a high standard. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, active environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and oversee multiple youth sports programs across Port St. Lucie, Jupiter, and Palm City
  • Manage and support coaches to ensure high-energy, structured, and engaging classes
  • Travel daily between program locations (majority in Port St. Lucie)
  • Ensure programs start on time and run smoothly
  • Communicate with parents and school staff professionally
  • Set up and break down equipment for each session
  • Solve problems on the spot and keep programs running at a high level
  • Maintain a fun, positive, and disciplined environment for kids

What We’re Looking For

  • High energy, outgoing personality (this is NOT a desk job)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation (REQUIRED)
  • Willingness to travel between locations daily
  • Organized, dependable, and able to take ownership
  • Experience working with kids is a plus, but not required
  • Must be available weekday mornings and weekends

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: Preschool programs (morning hours)
  • Weekends: League games and events

Location

  • Port St. Lucie, Jupiter, and Palm City (travel required)
  • Majority of programs based in Port St. Lucie

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
