Role summary

Seeking a REMOTE Senior Java Full Stack Developer with strong Angular experience for an international organization in Europe. The role involves designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and supporting multiple applications. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree, fluency in English, and 5-10 years of Java development experience with Spring Boot, JPA, EJB, JSF, and JUnit. Experience with Angular, cloud technologies (AWS), search technologies (SOLR, Elasticsearch), and test automation is advantageous. The position requires adherence to the European work schedule and offers a challenging role with an attractive compensation package.

Category: IT Services Location: Genève Genf Switzerland For an international organization in Europe, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE Senior Java Full Stack Developer with good knowledge of Angular (Angular, AngularJS, Angular2, ...). The Senior Java Full Stack Developer is responsible for the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support of multiple applications. Candidates need to be able to work the European schedule. During the corona crisis, interviews will be done through WEBEX, and travel is not required for the interviews. All positions are long-term. Tasks and Responsibilities:

Participate in architecture and design work for improvements to existing and/or implementation of new applications;

Implement required functionality, which includes code for frontend, backend, database, cloud deployment, tests, etc;

Test applications;

Participate in release activities through various environments;

Provide support for deployed applications, incident analysis, and resolution;

Document agreed solutions, requirements, test cases, release notes;

Perform other related duties as required;

Profile:

Bachelor or Master degree;

Fluent in English;

+5/+10 years of Java software development experience;

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, JPA, EJB, JSF, JUnit;

Significant experience in design and document data models, Java code, User Experience and User Interface, test cases, release notes, etc;

Hands-on experience in the following technical areas is an advantage:

Angular, Web Components;

UX/UI, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript;

Core AWS services, Cloud Formation, monitoring, and alerts in the cloud;

SOLR, Elastic Search;

Selenium, Cucumber or similar;

Data modeling, processing, ETL, and migration;
