This role will also support the News’ coverage of local events—those things that make people’s leisure time worthwhile, from a new exhibit opening to the latest immersive experience blowing up on TikTok. Assignments will likely include a mix of quick-turn breaking news, in-depth features, data-driven enterprise, and listicles, spanning the North Texas dining scene, food business, current affairs and politics impacting the culinary world, and events and things to do around town.
