A leading mission-focused solutions and digital transformation company is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer. This role focuses on designing, deploying, and securing cloud-native and Kubernetes-based platforms for high-stakes environments. You will be instrumental in building and automating Linux and hybrid cloud infrastructure to enable secure and scalable mission outcomes.

What you'll be doing

• Architect and deploy secure Linux and Kubernetes infrastructures for complex environments

• Implement automation using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD tools to streamline operations

• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks including STIG and RMF requirements

• Guide client teams on cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, and DevSecOps practices

• Troubleshoot and optimize performance across distributed systems and air-gapped deployments

What we're looking for

• Four years of infrastructure engineering experience with two years of Kubernetes administration

• Proficiency in automation tools including Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Bash

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development using GitLab, Jenkins, or ArgoCD

• Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification such as Security+ or equivalent

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for this role
