Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst based in Jonesboro, AR. The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT systems by implementing and managing security measures. The role involves conducting vulnerability assessments, monitoring for potential threats, analyzing and responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations and policies. The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will also work on improving security protocols, providing recommendations for system upgrades, and conducting cybersecurity awareness training.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in threat analysis, risk assessment, and vulnerability management
  • Experience in implementing and monitoring security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection tools
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements, including NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR
  • Skill in responding to incidents, performing root cause analysis, and developing risk mitigation strategies
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
