Role summary
The Idaho Youth Ranch is seeking a Retail Support Specialist to provide administrative and operational support for its Social Enterprise team, including thrift stores and distribution centers. This role involves managing inventory, tracking expenses, coding invoices, scheduling appointments, and making travel arrangements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and an operational mindset. Preferred candidates will have 2+ years of office administration experience. This position is onsite and contributes to the organization's mission of nurturing hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho's youth.

As a the Retail Support Specialist, you can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth by providing comprehensive administrative and operational support for the Social Enterprise team at Idaho Youth Ranch. This role supports operational efficiencies and provides administrative assistance for our thrift/resale stores, distribution centers, and Social Enterprise leadership.
Must Haves:
- Possess a High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications, use of internet and basic use of all office equipment.
- Strong organizational skills, operational mindset, and prioritization of tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including phone and email correspondence.
Preferred:
- 2+ years experience in office administration
Our Retail Support Specialist will:
- Maintain, purchase and keep track of inventory on operating supplies
- Arrange and make notifications of appointments and travel reservations, arranging meetings.
- Tracking and reporting operating expenses, supply usage by location coding invoices and support accounting needs
As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
