Role summary

InHome Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide home-based speech therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in the Sarasota area. This role offers a flexible schedule, consistent caseload, and administrative support. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, implementing therapy, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate documentation. Requires an active SLP-CCC license, BLS/CPR certification, reliable transportation, and basic technology comfort.

  • The evaluation visit rate for this role ranges from $75-90 per visit

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-home speech therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in your community
  • Evaluate patient communication, cognition, and swallowing to develop individualized treatment goals
  • Implement effective rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs
  • Educate patients and families on recovery plans and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely home health care documentation per Medicare and agency standards

    • Requirements

  • Active Speech Therapist (SLP-CCC) license in good standing
  • BLS CPR certification
  • Reliable transportation to see patients in their homes
  • Basic comfort with technology - email, texting, EMR systems (training provided)

    *This position is paid on a per-visit basis. Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Benefits eligibility varies based on employment status and weekly hours worked. Some roles are eligible for medical benefits only; others are eligible for both medical benefits and PTO. Additional offerings may include 401(k), life and disability coverage, voluntary supplemental insurance options, and a company-paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
