Role summary

INTEGRIS Health Cardiovascular Physicians is seeking a full-time Daytime Scheduling Specialist for their Oklahoma City, OK location. This role is responsible for coordinating the advanced scheduling of procedures for a designated department, verifying schedules, and coordinating shared equipment availability with other patient care and service areas. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of related scheduling experience, a good understanding of medical terminology, and strong communication skills.

Join our team as a Daytime, Full-Time, Scheduling Specialist, at INTEGRIS Health Cardiovascular Physicians Baptist Cardiovascular Registration, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsible for coordinating the advanced scheduling of procedures for a designated department.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Schedules and verifies/confirms scheduling of procedures for the department with the appropriate personnel utilizing an updated hospital physician privilege list.
Verifies the procedure schedule on an ongoing/daily basis.
Coordinates the availability of certain shared equipment with other patient care areas and other service areas during the scheduling process.

Reports to department Manager/Director

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Prefer a good understanding of medical terminology
Requires utilization of a computer, telephone, copier, calculator, and other usual office equipment
Prefer a minimum of one year of related scheduling experience
Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
