Role summary

Ishpi Information Technologies, Inc. (ISHPI) is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and a minimum of five years of principal-level experience in backend software development. The role requires hands-on experience with digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms (e.g., FFT, beamforming, spectral analysis), prototyping in languages like MATLAB, Python, C, or C++, and integrating signal processing software with hardware sensor arrays. Experience with containerization technologies and designing/maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is also essential. Desired experience includes microservices architecture, API design, sonar signal processing, and underwater acoustics, with a preference for candidates with eight or more years of experience.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Engineering.
Minimum five (5) years of Principal-level experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems.
Experience with containerization technologies, experience developing and implementing digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms (e.g., FFT, beamforming, spectral analysis), experience in prototyping algorithms in MATLAB, Python, C, or C++.
Experience integrating signal processing software with hardware sensor arrays.
Demonstrated, hands-on experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Desired Experience:

Eight (8) or more years of Principal-level experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems, sonar signal processing, or underwater acoustics.
Five (5) years of experience using microservices architecture and API design using interfaces, protocols, and data formatting.

Security Clearance: Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active government security clearance.
