Role summary

ISHPI is seeking a passionate Operations Systems Engineer to design and deliver innovative technical solutions for government and business organizations. This role involves collaborative work with customers, SMEs, and technical leaders, utilizing emerging technologies and proven methods. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and a minimum of five years of experience executing at-sea test procedures, writing test plans/reports, and conducting dockside grooms. Desired experience includes eight years with at-sea multi-target tracking and undersea range concepts, and five years of data analysis with tactical system and acoustic telemetry data. Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active security clearance.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience embarking on ships while meeting all medical/safety readiness requirements.
Minimum five (5) years of experience executing formal at-sea test procedures, writing At-Sea Test Plans/Reports, and conducting dockside grooms.

Desired Experience:

Eight (8) or more years of experience with at-sea multi-target tracking scenarios and undersea range concepts.
Five (5) years of demonstrated, hands-on data analysis experience with tactical system and acoustic telemetry data.

Security Clearance: Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active government security clearance.
