<Duties>

• Design and implement robust cloud architectures utilizing services such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Rackspace to meet organizational needs.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and configurations using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, PowerShell, Bash, and Shell Scripting to streamline deployment processes.
• Manage virtualization environments including VMware, OpenStack, Citrix, and Docker containers to optimize resource utilization and system flexibility.
• Build and support scalable web services and microservices architectures using RESTful APIs, JavaScript frameworks, Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby on Rails, Go, and .NET.
• Ensure system security through hardening practices, VPN setup, system patching, and compliance with industry standards for cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate within Agile teams on software development life cycle (SDLC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools for rapid delivery.
• Monitor performance metrics across cloud environments using tools like Nagios or CloudWatch to proactively address issues before they impact operations.

<Requirements>

• Proven experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure with platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure or Rackspace.
• Deep understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), SaaS (Software as a Service), and cloud development principles.
• Extensive knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, Citrix; containerization with Docker; orchestration with Kubernetes; and automation with Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure management encompassing operating systems like Linux and Windows; database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle; NoSQL databases; and web services protocols including RESTful APIs.
• Skilled in scripting languages including Python, Bash/Unix Shell scripting, PowerShell; experienced with Git for version control; familiar with DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Ability to implement system hardening measures ensuring security compliance across cloud environments; experience with network configuration including VPNs; knowledge of microservices architecture; familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) integrations is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Engineer are highly desirable. Pay: $102,691.24 - $123,671.17 per year
