Role summary

We are seeking a Principal-level Cloud Engineer to lead the architecture and delivery of high-volume financial platforms on AWS. This role involves building scalable Java Spring Boot APIs, managing high-traffic Kafka streams, and ensuring EKS pod resiliency. Responsibilities include designing and deploying AWS environments using Terraform and IaC, optimizing Kafka for high throughput, managing EKS clusters for high availability, and applying BFSI/brokerage knowledge for regulatory compliance. You will also implement end-to-end testing with Cucumber/Jest and maintain system health using Datadog/Splunk, acting as a hands-on lead with AI-augmented peer reviews and mentoring.

Role Summary

- Infrastructure & Deployment:
Design and deploy production-grade AWS environments using

- API & Backend Development:
Architect and develop high-performance
Java Spring Boot APIs
tailored for high-volume transaction processing.
- Data Streaming:
Optimize
Kafka
architectures to handle massive data throughput and real-time messaging for brokerage systems. Understanding of SNS, SQS.
- Container Orchestration:
Manage
AWS EKS
clusters with a focus on advanced
pod resiliency
, auto-scaling, and high availability.
- Technical Leadership:
Act as a hands-on lead, performing
AI-augmented peer reviews
and mentoring senior engineering staff.
- Domain Alignment:
Apply
BFSI
and
brokerage knowledge
to manage security data concepts and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Quality & Observability:
Implement end-to-end testing using
Cucumber

JEST
, Junit, Mockito while maintaining system health via

and
