Sales Operations Analyst

Department: Operations

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Reno Office

Description

About the Role

LegalMatch is seeking a highly analytical, technically skilled, and proactive Sales Operations Analyst to work directly with senior sales leadership, including the Head of Sales and Membership, to improve sales performance, drive revenue growth, and support strategic initiatives across our organization.

This is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on how our sales organization operates. You'll combine data analytics, technology, sales operations, and project management skills to identify opportunities, solve problems, and help turn ideas into measurable business improvements.

You'll become deeply familiar with our sales process, systems, and daily operations, working alongside salespeople, managers, and leadership to understand what drives success and where we can improve.

We're not looking for someone who simply reports what the numbers say. We want someone who can tell us what they mean, what we should do about them, and help make it happen.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics, Reporting & Technology
  • Analyze sales and operational data to identify performance trends, root causes, revenue opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and actionable reports that provide senior leadership with meaningful business insights.
  • Improve reporting accuracy and efficiency through automation, data integration, and streamlined processes.
  • Build analytical models to evaluate revenue opportunities, operational efficiencies, and return on investment.
  • Research and evaluate AI tools and emerging technologies for sales coaching, call analysis, prospecting, reporting, and workflow automation.
  • Leverage call recordings, AI-generated transcripts, and other sales technologies to identify successful behaviors, coaching opportunities, and performance trends.
Sales Operations & Strategic Initiatives
  • Partner directly with the Head of Sales and Membership and senior sales leadership to identify opportunities, recommend improvements, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our sales process, systems, and workflows by working closely with sales representatives, managers, and trainers.
  • Analyze sales performance across offices, teams, and lead sources, including prospecting activity, appointment setting, conversion rates, and revenue generation.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, revenue leakage, and opportunities to streamline processes, reduce administrative work, and improve sales productivity.
  • Evaluate sales strategies, lead allocation, incentives, and training effectiveness to identify successful practices and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects, track progress and deliverables, and support the implementation of new processes and technologies.
  • Proactively bring data-driven ideas and recommendations to senior leadership and help measure their impact on business performance.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, business analytics, revenue operations, or related fields.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to work with complex datasets, business systems, and reporting tools.
  • Understanding sales performance metrics, conversion analysis, and revenue drivers.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations and communicate findings effectively to senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills, independent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting high-volume inside sales, outbound sales, or call center operations.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, cloud-based phone platforms, and AI-powered tools such as Dialpad.
  • Experience with AI applications, workflow automation, API integrations, or Python.
  • Experience supporting multiple offices, sales training analytics, or incentive analysis.
Who Will Thrive in This Role

You're naturally curious, analytical, and proactive. You enjoy digging into data, but you're more interested in what the numbers reveal and how they can be used to improve the business.

You're comfortable working directly with salespeople to understand their challenges, researching new technologies, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.

You don't wait to be told what needs improvement. You recognize opportunities, bring ideas to the table, and take ownership of helping move them forward.

If you enjoy combining technology, data, and business strategy—and want to see your ideas make a real impact—this is an opportunity to do just that.
