Role summary

This role supervises a pharmacy site's inventory and receiving operations, ensuring adequate stock levels and accurate processing of inbound shipments. Responsibilities include managing on-hand inventory, conducting cycle counts, preventing stockouts, organizing storage areas, and leading a small warehouse team. The role focuses on inventory assurance and receiving accuracy, feeding data to corporate supply chain for planning and replenishment, and partnering with site pharmacy leadership. Requires 5+ years of relevant experience, forklift certification, computer proficiency, and familiarity with cycle counts, lot traceability, and CoA management.

About the Role

As Inventory & Receiving Supervisor, you keep a single pharmacy site stocked, organized, and ready. You own on-hand inventory, receive and inspect every shipment that comes in, organize it, and lead the site's small receiving/warehouse team. As Corporate Supply Chain centralizes procurement, this role evolves away from purchasing and toward inventory assurance and receiving — your job becomes making sure the pharmacy always has what it needs on hand, and that everything we send arrives, is checked, and is put away correctly.

What You'll Do

Own site inventory: monitor on-hand levels, run cycle counts, prevent stockouts, and manage lot/expiry and FIFO/FEFO so the pharmacy always has adequate supply on hand.

  • Receive and inspect all inbound shipments against POs and packing slips; flag damage, shortages, and discrepancies, and quarantine or escalate as needed.

  • Organize and maintain storage areas so materials are easy to find, properly stored, and audit-ready.

  • Lead the site's receiving/warehouse team — assign and schedule daily work, train, and manage performance.

  • Feed accurate on-hand and receiving data back to Supply Chain so replenishment and planning stay current.

  • Partner with site pharmacy leadership on supply needs and with Corporate on replenishment timing and inbound deliveries.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

You run a tight stockroom. You're organized, dependable, and hands-on, you lead a small team well, and you follow up until a discrepancy is actually resolved. You're comfortable being the person the pharmacy counts on to always have what it needs.Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in inventory, receiving, warehouse, or materials management, including some team-lead or supervisory responsibility.

  • Forklift certified (or able to obtain certification), and able to safely operate a forklift and warehouse material-handling equipment.

  • Comfortable using a computer — email, spreadsheets, and inventory/warehouse software — to keep accurate records.

  • Familiar with cycle counts and lot traceability, and experienced in Certificate of Analysis (CoA) management (must-have).

  • Strong organization and recordkeeping; keeps counts accurate and storage audit-ready.

  • Hands-on with receiving and inspecting shipments and managing storage; able to perform the physical requirements of warehouse work.

  • Clear communicator with dependable follow-through across site and corporate teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmacy, healthcare, 503A/compounding, or other regulated environment.

  • Experience with inventory / ERP / WMS systems (NetSuite or similar).

  • FIFO/FEFO and temperature-controlled / cold-chain handling.

  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) a plus, to support deliveries between sites as needed.

Our Benefits

In addition, for salaried positions you would also be eligible for:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision plans

  • Flexible Spending/Health Savings Accounts

  • Flexible PTO

  • 401(k) + Company Match

  • Life Insurance, Pet insurance, and more
