This role focuses on winning technical decisions for customers in national security and critical infrastructure sectors. The Director will lead Sales Engineers (SEs) in demonstrating, scoping, and proving the Mattermost platform, especially in secure, on-premises, or air-gapped environments. Responsibilities include team development, defining demo and discovery processes, partnering with sales leaders on strategic pursuits, and acting as the field's voice to Product and Engineering. We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales Engineering to build and lead Mattermost's global technical presales team. Are you a technical presales leader who has built a team that wins the technical decision, and wants to do it for customers who protect national security and critical infrastructure? You will set the standard for how we demo, scope, and prove the platform; coach each SE to win the technical evaluation; and be the voice of the field to Product and Engineering.
